Candidate Forum
There will be a Ellis County Republican Candidate Forum on February 13 at 7 pm at the Waxahachie Civic Center, 2000 Civic Center Ln, Waxahachie hosted by the ECRW. The forum is for the contested races for Ellis County Offices and for the candidates in the State Representative race. Candidates in non-contested races will be introduced. The event moderators are WDL Editor Neal White and KBEC Business Manager Ken Roberts.

Ellis County Sheriff - Johnny Brown, Susan “Welch” Rodriguez
and Kevin Ketchum
County Commissioner Pct 1- Dennis Robinson
County Commissioner Pct 3 – Heath Sims and Boyce Whatley
Constable Pct 1 – Ben Fry, Ron A. Callender, Jr., Gary L. Perkins,
Jim Pharr and Clint Tims
Constable Pct 4 – Michael Jones and Michael Delara
District/County Attorney – Patrick Wilson
Candidates have the option to use a draped table for displaying campaign materials for a $20 fee. Please let us know if you want a table or not when you send in your R.S.V.P.
The ECRW consider this a privilege and honor to continue to sponsor the forum every two years that provides the opportunity for the public to meet and greet each candidate.
An open invitation is extended to the general public and a “Meet and Greet” is planned for 6:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
