Our Next Meeting:
The next meeting will be held on Monday, February 8, 2010 at the Waxahachie Civic Center, 1950 I-35E, Waxahachie, Texas at 7:00 p.m. All Ellis County Republican Party candidates running for the GOP nomination in local races have been invited to participate. The moderators for the event will be Ken Roberts, KBEC vice president and general manager, and Neal White, editor of the Waxahachie Newspapers, Inc. A portion of the forum will be broadcast live on KBEC and a complete coverage will be published in the Waxahachie Daily Light.
ECRW encourage members of the community to attend the forum and learn more about the candidates seeking office in the March 2 Republican Primary. The candidates will be allowed to make opening and closing remarks and answers questions posed by the moderators.
A reception will begin at 6:000 p.m. for the community to meet the candidates before the formal program. Light refreshments will served.

A Second Meeting in February
The ECRW will be meeting again on February 16 at the Rogers Hotel at 7:00 p.m. This is our regularly scheduled meeting date and time.
The two candidates, Justice Jeff Brown and Mr. Rick Green, seeking office in March 2 Republican Primary for Texas Supreme Court Place 3 that were unable to attend the January 19th meeting have been invited again to attend. Also Judge Al Scoggins and Justice Felipe Reyna, candidates for the 10th Court of Appeals and Senator Kip Averitt and Darren Yancy, candidates seeking the nomination for Texas Senator in SD 22 have been invited to attend the meeting. As of this posting only one candidate has accepted the invitation.
